ASU Football: Three-star California defensive end Alonzo Hall commits to 17-man 2019 recruiting class

Early Monday morning, the Arizona State Sun Devils received good news, as announced on Twitter that Alonzo Hall was going to be the next Sun Devil:

Hall is currently attending Reseda Senior High School in Reseda, California. He is ranked by 247Sports and Rivals as a three-star recruit. Hall has also received offers from Colorado State, Fresno State, Louisville and Iowa State.

The 6-foot-5, 230 pound, Hall is ranked as the 109th best player in California and 69th for weak-side defensive ends according to 247Sports. His recruitment was led by ASU linebacker coach Antonio Pierce, who was one of the first to retweet the announcement. Hill was one of many recruits on an official visit for ASU’s win over UCLA, he may be the first of a handful, but only time will tell.

The 17th commitment for the 2019 class, Hill is also the third defensive end. He joins defensive ends David “DJ” Heckard, Anthonie Cooper, the rest of the class consists of offensive linemen LaDarius Henderson, Roman DeWys, Alijah Bates, Dohnovan West and Ben Scott, defensive back Jordan Clark, wide receivers Andre Johnson, Ricky Pearsall, Jordan Kerley, quarterbacks Ethan Long, Joey Yellen,, tight end Nolan Matthews, linebacker Connor Soelle , athlete Ty DeArman.
