To add some more receiving depth, ASU has added three-star wide receiver commit Jordan Kerley from Austin, Texas.
Kerley, who attends McNeil High School, is listed as the 142nd best receiver in the State of Texas, according to 247Sports.
The wideout committed to ASU on July along with his in-state counterpart Nolan Matthews. Together, the two player could help pose some problems for opposing defenses next season following the loss of N’Keal Harry.
Kerley was recruited by ASU wide receiver coach Charlie Fisher, and he chose to come to Tempe over Baylor, TCU, SMU and the school down South in Tucson.
In his senior year at McNeil, Kerley snagged 75 receptions for 1,185 yards and 12 touchdowns. As for some other metrics, the 6-foot-1, 190 pound Texan ran a 4.45-second 40-yard dash in high school.
He will be supplemented with fellow Sun Devil signees at the receiver position such as Andre Johnson and Ricky Pearsall.
