Three-star offensive tackle Ben Scott is leaving the Hawaiian Islands to depart for Tempe next season.
Scott signed as a part of the Sun Devils’ 2019 recruiting class on Early Signing Day on Wednesday.
Committed since August, Scott was the 12th commitment of the Herm Edwards 2019 signing class.
Scott attends St. Louis High School in Honolulu, and he was rated a two-star tackle by Rivals, but a three-star by 247Sports. He joins other incoming offensive linemen such as Ladarius Henderson, Roman DeWys, and Dohnovan West in this year’s class.
Scott was recruited by Dave Christensen and Shaun Nua of the Sun Devil coaching staff, and he fielded other offers from Mountain West schools such as Fresno State, Hawaii, and Utah State. Among other Pac-12 schools, Scott received an offer from Washington State.
