The bubble squad included quarterback Ryan Kelley and Cam Phillips.
Jalen Harvey didn’t participate in 11-on-11s, but was doing drills without a helmet on with the defense.
Wide receiver John Humphrey, who missed this season with a torn achilles, was back on the field taking punt and kickoff returns.
This was the first time ASU was without wide receiver N’Keal Harry, who will be skipping the bowl game and preparing for the NFL Draft instead. Brandon Aiyuk joined Kyle Williams and Frank Darby as starting wide receivers.
Cam Phillips was not out there for the 11-on-11s with Cody French taking his place with the second team defense. Phillips had filled in for Demonte King when he was hurt for the Oregon game.
Eno Benjamin wasn’t in for the 11-on-11s. It was probably a rest day for Benjamin, who has had plenty of workload this season.
Linebacker coach Antonio Pierce made his position group be in a bent over, tackle ready position for about four or five minutes straight. Once it ended there was a handful and sigh of reliefs from the group.
