As March nears and the Sun Devils’ stock keeps dropping, the one question on the minds of just about all ASU fans is: “Is ASU going to make the NCAA Tournament?”
Well, after scouring though numerous brackets from a plethora of ‘experts,’ the Sun Devils are safe. Their seeding, however, isn’t ideal.
In a list of 83 different brackets compiled by Bracketmatrix.com, the Sun Devils were listed in all 83. But, with an average seeding of 8.73, the highest seeding assigned to ASU was 6 — given out by two outlets — and the lowest, given out by nine sites, was an 11.
Without much room to improve their resume in the next two weeks, it’s almost a lock that Arizona State will end up in either the 8 v. 9 or 7 v. 10 first-round matchup.
Here’s a few brackets that can give some insight on who and where ASU may be playing.
