On January 12 — just weeks after his high school coach took over as ASU’s linebackers coach — safety Aashari Crosswell took an official visit to Tempe. He must’ve liked it, too, because on Wednesday he inked himself there for the next four years.

Crosswell played under now-Sun Devil linebackers coach Antonio Pierce at Long Beach Poly High School, where Pierce spent the last three years as head coach.
Crosswell will not only bring continuity to ASU, he will also bring a plethora of stars. Both 247Sports and ESPN rank the Long Beach, California native as a four-star prospect.
The 6-foot-1, 185-pound Crosswell also held offers from USC, Nebraska and Auburn, among many others, but ASU was the last visit he took.
