The Arizona State Sun Devils hit the Kajikawa Practice Fields for the first time this spring before a crowd of about 100 on Tuesday morning.
All practices are open to the public. The Sun Devils practice next on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. and Friday at 6:35 p.m. Here’s the full spring practice schedule.
- Running back Nick Ralston has switch from running back to linebacker, while wide receiver Jalen Harvey is now at safety. He was taking first-team reps on Tuesday and even had an interception.
- Ryan Newsome said afterwards that Harvey’s move to safety was his own decision. Newsome also noted that Harvey will probably be one of ASU’s harder hitters.
Ride Wit Me (Nelly), God’s Plan (Drake).
No players were in green jerseys or fully limited, however, cornerback Joey Bryant and linebacker Koron Crump were both back in practice for the first time since sustaining season-ending injuries in the fall of 2017. Each had a braces on their left knee. Neither participated in tempo drills.
