The visit comes just over a month following his de-commitment from Arizona on March 2. Williams tagged @tcherry002 (Taeshon Cherry) in his tweet, a five-star 2018 commit for the Sun Devils.
Williams is the third player to de-commit from Arizona, joining five-star Jahvon Quinerly, who de-committed in October and pledged to play for Villanova, and Shareef O’Neal, who reopened his recruitment on Feb. 24, then committed to UCLA four days later.
ASU head coach Bobby Hurley had an in-home visit with Williams on March 26.

“I'm already knowing it's going to be crazy when i get there. I see it all over social media. I'm more than excited because they let their guards just "play" and it fits my game”
Since Williams reopened his recruitment, he’s become a hot recruiting commodity. Coaches Dana Altman (Oregon) and Sean Miller (Arizona) have visited Williams’ home. Mark Few (Gonzaga) is scheduled to take an in-home visit on Thursday, April 5, Jake Weingarten of stockrisers.com reports.
Williams is rated a four-star and the 37th ranked player in the nation by Rivals.com. He’s listed as a five-star and the nation’s 22nd best player, according to 247sports.com.
Arizona State ranks 13th in ESPN’s 2018 recruiting class rankings, having already signed five-star Luguentz Dort and four-star Elias Valtonen, ASU received its latest commitment from Cherry in January.
