Although former ASU defensive lineman JoJo Wicker didn’t hear his name called at the NFL Draft, the Detroit Lions are bringing him in as an undrafted free agent.

The junior defensive lineman declared early for the NFL Draft and to forego his senior season with the Sun Devils.
In his three years in Tempe, Wicker had 12.5 sacks, 102 total tackles, 31.5 tackles for a loss and four forced fumbles over his career.
Wicker led the Sun Devils with 13 tackles for a loss and was third on the team in sacks with six behind Alani Latu and D.J. Calhoun last season.
Things that don’t always show up in the stat box like constant pressures Wicker provided such as this one against Oregon State last season that caused an intentional grounding penalty and a safety.
DO THE SAFETY DANCE!

JoJo Wicker forces the intentional grounding in the end zone and that's good for two points!

Wicker’s departure from Arizona State opens the doors for defensive linemen Jalen Bates, Renell Wren and Darius Slade who worked with the first team throughout spring practice.
