ASU Football: N’Keal Harry named to Biletnikoff Award preseason watch list

Another honor for the junior wideout

Andrew Palla

For the second time this week, junior wide receiver N’Keal Harry was named to a preseason watch list. On Thursday, Harry was included in the Biletnikoff Award preseason watch list for the nation’s most outstanding receiver.

This comes a few days after he and quarterback Manny Wilkins were named to the Maxwell Award preseason watch list.

Now with most preseason watch lists including just about anyone, these things can just be taken as a grain of salt. But in Harry’s case he may be one of the favorites to hoist the Biletnitoff Award at the end of the season.

After reeling in 82 receptions for 1,142 receptions and eight touchdowns, he earned First-Team All-Pac-12 selection last season. Harry also finished 14th in NCAA Division I in yards.

The Chandler-native will most likely be one of the most looked at NFL Draft prospects heading into the season. According to Bleacher Report’s draft specialist Matt Miller, he has Harry as his 2nd wide receiver and 22nd overall prospect on his early big board.

Along with Ole Miss’ A.J. Brown and West Virginia’s David Stills, Harry should be among the group of talented pass catchers who could win the award.
