The Sun Devils added their 12th commit of the 2019 class on Wednesday. Offensive lineman Ben Scott from Honolulu, Hawaii announced his choice to commit to Arizona State via Twitter:

Scott is ranked as a two-star tackle by Rivals, but a three-star by 247Sports. 247Sports has him as their 164th tackle in the nation and the 21st best player from Hawaii. He also received offers from Fresno State, Hawaii, UNLV, Utah State and Washington State.
Defensive line coach Shaun Nua was at the forefront of recruiting Scott as he is in charge of Hawaii recruiting. Offensive line coach Dave Christensen was very happy with the news according to his Twitter.

Scott joins fellow offensive linemen LaDarius Henderson and Roman DeWys in Herm Edwards’ first recruiting class. Wide receivers Andre Johnson, Ricky Pearsall, Jordan Kerley, quarterbacks Ethan Long, Joey Yellen, defensive end DJ Heckard ,tight end Nolan Matthews, linebacker Connor Soelle and athlete Ty DeArman round out the 12-man class.
