The No. 17 Sun Devils have started their game week preparations, as they take on the No. 13 Utah Utes Saturday. The media viewing lasted roughly 20 minutes with a big emphasis being on special teams.

Injury Update
Redshirt freshman safety Cam Phillips was on the sidelines with defensive coordinator Danny Gonzales as he worked on getting back to full strength. Phillips was seen without a brace on his left elbow. Freshman cornerback Jordan Clark was seen back at practice but didn't partake in any stretching or drills.
Redshirt junior running back Isaiah Floyd was still absent at practice.
What Went On
Senior wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk was named the Mandrake player of the week after his 196 receiving yards and three touchdown game Saturday.

Special teams was another big emphasis at practice as Shawn Slocum had the team work on punt coverage. Wide receivers Brandon Aiyuk, Brandon Pierce and cornerback Jack Jones took punt and kickoff returns.
Senior lineman Steve Miller and Roy Hemsley were splitting first team reps after both of them played in the Washington State game. Redshirt freshman Ralph Frias was seen lined up as a sixth offensive lineman/possible scout tight end to be the pulling lead blocker.
