What Went On
At the beginning of practice, freshman kicker Jack Luckhurst took field goal attempts. He went 3/5 and had his last kick blocked by defensive lineman Jermayne Lole.
The linebackers and defensive linemen took part in sled work, and the offensive line worked on run blocking to create holes for the running backs. In parts of the drill, offensive line coach Dave Christensen had six o-lineman on the line. One of the guards would pull block, and the sixth offensive lineman would cut into the inside and block.
