Injury Update
Cornerback Kobe Williams still wore his green non-contact jersey. Williams with a brace/soft cast on his right hand after having surgery on it over the bye week. Head coach Herm Edwards has said that he’ll be ready to play, but from what we’ve seen he’s done very minimal work.
Freshman cornerback Jordan Clark was still not seen at practice. Cade Cote worked with the second team offensive line.
Running back Isaiah Floyd also was absent from practice again, and here is Rob Likens’ comment on it from Tuesday when asked about Floyd’s role.
“Yeah, you’ll have to talk to coach Herm about that. He’s on a personal deal.”
What Went On
Defensive coordinator Danny Gonzales and the rest of the staff had the defense go through a walkthrough of odd Washington State formations. Mike Leach and the Cougars are known to do anything, such as the video below, the offense was used in a bit of a scout team for a possible situation they might have to face on Saturday.
