ASU Football: Practice Report (11/6)

The bye week has come and gone. Now, the Sun Devils have put forth all of their attention to a South division matchup with the USC Trojans. Both teams are sitting at five wins, and are looking to go bowling this Saturday with a win in Tempe.

Injury Update

No players were seen in the green jerseys again at practice. Players that were mentioned yesterday, (George Lea, Khaylan Kearse-Thomas and Darien Butler) were all full go’s as they rotated in on 11-on-11. Linebacker Tyler Johnson was also seen taking reps with the one’s and two’s.

What Went On

The team opened up its practice with special teams work as they focused on punt returns. Brandon Aiyuk, Jack Jones and Brandon Pierce were back deep retuning punts as special teams coach Shawn Slocum told Aiyuk where to line up.

The team also had a portion of 11-on-11s, and kept saying they wanted to make it a competition. The media was allowed to view this portion of the practice.
