The NCAA announced that the Arizona State Sun Devils are a two-seed in the Tuscaloosa Regional on Sunday night. They will play the three-seed Lipscomb on Friday at 4:00 p.m. ET on ESPN3. They’ll face either the host Alabama or the four-seed Alabama State on Saturday.

Head coach Trisha Ford on the team’s bounce back from their nine-game losing streak.
The Sun Devils enter the tournament riding high with three straight series’ wins, two of which came courtesy of sweeps. For the Sun Devils, a chance for a follow-up trip to Oklahoma City begins in Tuscaloosa.
“We have a lot of momentum and we are having a lot of fun with each other,” said senior left fielder Skylar McCarty. “Our pitching staff is doing phenomenal, our defense is phenomenal, and we are hitting the ball. We are putting up some good numbers and we are just really enjoying one another. The chemistry of our team is very exciting right now.”
