Thomas just finished his first two years at College of Southern Idaho. He originally committed to Texas Tech before his decommitment on May 17. The power forward narrowed his choices down to Oregon and ASU after his visits to the schools on a weekend earlier in May. He also had offers from Arizona, Florida State, LSU, West Virginia, Oklahoma and a handful more.
He is listed at 6-foot-9 and 210 pounds. According to 247Sports, Thomas is ranked as a four-star and the second overall JUCO recruit. He will be one of the the tallest players on the Sun Devils’ roster along with junior forward Romello White and incoming freshman center Jalen Graham.
Thomas joins fellow 2019 recruiting classmate guard Alonzo Verge Jr., also in the top-five rankings of JUCO players. As well as forward Andre Allen, guards Jaelen House and Caleb Christopher.
