On Wednesday, the Pac-12 conference released its All-Conference team. Nine Sun Devils made the list.

Four Arizona State baseball players made the first-team. Junior outfielder Hunter Bishop, sophomore Spencer Torkelson, junior catcher Lyle Lin and junior right-handed pitcher Alec Marsh.

Bishop led the Pac-12 conference with 22 home runs. Additionally, the potential MLB first rounder in June had a .347 average, a team-high 61 RBI and tied with Oregon State catcher Adley Rutschman in slugging percentage (.765) for the top spot in the conference.

Torkelson finished second behind Bishop with 21 blasts. His sophomore season included the team’s best average at .348 average, one RBI short of Bishop with 60 and a huge improvement defensively at first base. Torkelson will attempt to go 3-for-3 for All-Conference honors next season.

Lin returned to school in hopes of improving his 29th round draft stock from a year ago. A late season surge helped place Lin onto the All-Conference list. He finished with .303 average, 13 doubles, nine home runs and 46 RBI.

Marsh became the Friday night ace over the course the 2019 season. He led the team in WHIP with a 1.23 and an ERA of 3.17. His 92 strikeouts placed him fifth in the conference and his nine wins at tied for second.

Sophomore shortstop Alika Williams made the All-Defensive team. Sophomores third baseman Gage Workman and second baseman Drew Swift were honorable mentions for the category.

A handful of other sophomores were honorable mentions for the All-Conference title. Williams, Workman, pitcher Brady Corrigan and left fielder Trevor Hauver.

ASU will begin the Baton Rouge regional on Friday against Southern Mississippi at 10:00 a.m. Arizona time. The game can be seen on ESPN3.
