In probably no surprise to any Sun Devil fan, junior running back Eno Benjamin received another accolade to his collection on Tuesday. Benjamin was listed on the second team of the Associated Press preseason All-American team.
Benjamin in his breakout campaign established himself into Arizona State history. With a now school record 1642 rushing yards paired with 18 total touchdowns earned him a spot on AP’s Third Team All-Americans list.
The Texas-native is paired with Georgia’s D’Andre Swift on the second team, while the First Team had Wisconsin’s Jonathan Taylor and Clemson’s Travis Etienne.
Benjamin has a chance to be ASU’s first skill position (kicker Zane Gonzalez was on the First Team in 2016) First Team AP All-American since Terrell Suggs in 2002.
