It’s likely that the pair will miss Saturday’s game against UCLA. Jones replacement will be either Timarcus Davis or moving Jordan Clark from the nickel/slot corner outside to the perimeter.
Meanwhile, Crosswell hardly played against USC in Arizona State’s lone game. Instead, Boise State transfer DeAndre Pierce started at safety for the Sun Devils.
LSU transfer Travez Moore commits to Arizona State
Shortly after the news about the suspension, Arizona State gained the commitment of defensive end Travez Moore. Moore recently entered the transfer portal after three seasons at LSU where he had just 1.5 sacks in a limited role across eight games.
Originally coming out of Copiah-Lincoln Community College, the 6-foot-4, 245-pound Moore was rated a four-star recruit and the fifth best JUCO prospect in the 2018 class according to 247Sports.
