Herm Edwards and Antonio Pierce must be good at making pancakes because they know how to flip. Sione Velkoso originally committed to Oregon State back in April, announced that he’s now headed to Arizona State.

Velkoso only comes in as a two-star offensive lineman according to 247Sports and Rivals. However, the Hawaiian native was originally part of the 2018 recruiting class. Velkoso went on a two-year mission for his church. Despite the lack of playing recently, his 6-foot-6, 295 pound frame is attractive to schools.
BYU and Washington State also had interest in Velkoso. It’s unclear whether or not the Sun Devils will use him as a guard or a tackle. His talent is there as he participated at the 2018 Polynesian Bowl.
