NCAA will start working on issues tied to this & winter athletes.
This comes after the NCAA announced that all spring championships would be canceled due to the concerns of the COVID-19, coronavirus. This seems that sports such as baseball and softball’s athletes would all be granted another year of eligibility. The next issue is figuring out how it would all work based upon scholarship pools and the financial side of it all.
The report also stated Division I Council Coordination Committee, and it says it will work on this in “a timely manner” and are discussing winter sports such as men’s and women’s basketball.
