Here at House of Sparky we wanted to finish the Pac-12 Tournament in a fun creative, mock way. With help from wheeldecide.com we will do that. We will start at the quarterfinals and work to the championship game. Each team will have three sides on the wheel, a blowout win, a regular win and a buzzer beater win. Based on that will we create a mock score and storyline based upon that. Stay up to date from the quarterfinal results.

SEMIFINALS

No. 5 Arizona vs. No. 8 Oregon State

The Spin: Oregon State win

The Score: Oregon State Beavers 82, Arizona Wildcats 75

The Storyline: In this battle, Oregon State’s Tres Tinkle and Arizona’s Zeke Nnaji seemingly go bucket for bucket as each score 25-plus points. The difference makers for the Beavers however were Ethan Thompson and Kylor Kelley. Thompson cashed in seven 3-pointers and Kelly blocked six shots in the paint, two of them down the stretch to push the Beavers ahead.

No. 3 Arizona State vs. No. 10 Cal

The Spin: Arizona State blowout win

The Score: Arizona State Sun Devils 81, California Golden Bears 59

The Storyline: Remy Martin, Rob Edwards and Alonzo Verge all score at least 20 points in this one, as the Sun Devils have one of their most efficient nights in the Bobby Hurley era. The upset streak for Cal ends because after two straight nights of playing well, they went back to its ways for most of the 2019-20 season.

FINALS

No. 3 Arizona State vs. No. 8 Oregon State

The Spin: Oregon State win

The Score: Oregon State Beavers 72, Arizona State Sun Devils 69

The Storyline: The Beavers control this one for most of the game, going up 13 points at one point in the second half. Arizona State didn’t go down without a fight, the Sun Devils figured out a way to get Romello White the ball late and he scored 14 of the Sun Devils’ last 19 points. Down three, Remy Martin was given the chance to tie it at the buzzer but the shot went wide off the rim and the Beavers stole a bid.
