Martin made this season’s all-conference first team in the Pac-12 after averaging 19.1 points per game, second in the conference, 3.1 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game. He improved every season while playing as a Sun Devil. His energy he brought to the game wasn’t something that could be measured in a stat.
Martin joins a list of departing Sun Devils that include Rob Edwards, Mickey Mitchell, Khalid Thomas and Elias Valtonen. However, Martin could also simply be testing the waters and possibly return for his senior season similar to what Oregon State’s Tres Tinkle did last year.
Sun Devil head coach Bobby Hurley tweeted shortly after Goodman, Martin’s statement with “I support Remy (the 100 emoji) as he pursues his dreams!”
Do you believe Martin will return next season? What do you believe his draft value is?
