The roster shuffle of Arizona State’s men’s basketball team continued on Tuesday. The door left open by Sun Devil transfers was filled by former Ohio State guard Luther Muhammad as Evan Daniels of 247Sports broke his commitment to the Sun Devils:

Muhammad finished his sophomore season as a Buckeye before entering the transfer portal. Last season, he started 28 games while averaging 7.0 points and 2.3 rebounds. He put up similar numbers in his freshman season as well.
Coming out of Hudson Catholic High School in New Jersey, the 6-foot-4 guard was rated as a four-star recruit by both Rivals and 247Sports. Each recruiting service placed him inside their top 80 national recruits in 2018.
Muhammad joins the Sun Devils a day after they landed five-star recruit Joshua Christopher and Portland transfer Holland Woods a few days before. Muhammad will have to sit out next season due to transfer rules, but has two seasons left after that.
