It appears the Sun Devils are betting on tools with their latest recruit they landed. Isaiah Pipkins, a 2021 recruit from Wake Forest, N.C., stands at 6-foot-6 and shows great athleticism but is still grasping football after growing up a football player. It appears the Sun Devils are banking that his best football days are ahead of him.
After speaking with my family I am blessed to say that I have committed to @ASU. I want to thank all the coaches at ASU for allowing me the opportunity to play for such a great university. @ASUFootball #ForksUp pic.twitter.com/l7jpUS4rwl

Pipkins grew up in Arizona and the Sun Devils were his lone Power Five offer at this time. He picked the Sun Devils over other schools such as Akron, Bowling Green and Georgia State. He isn’t currently rated by either Rivals or 247Sports, but due to the uncertainty of high school football it appears, Pipkins also took a risk by committing early.
This continues the plan for the Sun Devils to get bigger on the front line defensively. Pipkins joins fellow edge commits Jaydon Williams and Caleb Banks.
Last season at Wake Forest High School, Pipkins recorded 30 tackles, two sacks and two quarterback hurries.
Here are the rest of the current class of 2021 commits:
Finn Collins (QB)
Jaydon Williams (OLB)
Caleb Banks (DE)
Kamron Beachem (ATH)
Garrett Gillette (TE)
