Arizona State senior wide receiver Frank Darby has been named to the Frank Biletnikoff Award Preseason Watch List, an award annually given to the nation’s top receiver.
In 2019, Darby had 31 receptions for 616 yards and eight touchdowns en route to earning All Pac-12 Honorable Mention honors.
In the second portion of ASU’s schedule, Darby averaged 24.2 yards per catch as a deep threat weapon for then-freshman quarterback Jayden Daniels.
A fan favorite among many in Tempe, the New Jersey native is known for his dance moves, his constant smile, and his love for sweet tea, which was illustrated in ASU’s HBO special on 24/7 College Football.
Darby’s most memorable game from this past season came when the Sun Devils upset No. 6 Oregon, as Darby hauled in four catches for 125 yards and two touchdowns on deep balls.
4 catches. 125 yards. 2 TD.

Darby will look to make his mark once more in 2020, when and if the season occurs, as he looks to become the third straight Sun Devil wide receiver to be taken in the first round of the NFL Draft.
He’s already made his intentions known about that feat, as he tries to follow in the footsteps of former teammates N’Keal Harry (Drafted No. 31 overall in 2019) and Brandon Aiyuk (Drafted No. 25 overall in 2020).
Gotta keep the trend going
