We continue our series looking at future Sun Devils who are coming to play at Arizona State next season.
In 2020, ASU lacrosse was 5-3 up until the season was canceled. Entering year two of his tenure, Sun Devil coach Tim McCormack has 10 players coming into the fourth-year program.
This is McCormack’s first signing class as head coach. Here’s a look at the players who will be competing in Spring 2021.
Grace Lilla, Defender, Stillwater MN (Stillwater Area High School)
Grace Lilla collected 37 ground balls and 50 draw controls at Stillwater High School. She had seven games with at least two goals in 2019, and finished her campaign with 20 goals and 11 assists.
Lilla was a Third Team All-State selection and a First Team Selection in her high school’s section.

Kaitlyn Skamas, Defender, Franklin Lakes NJ (Ramapo High School)
Listed as a defender, Kaitlyn Skamas also played midfield with her club and high school programs. She is a righty who has played four years at the varsity level, and was the only defender to play as an underclassmen at Ramapo High School.
Mina Scott, Midfielder, Kennett Square PA (Unionville High School)
Mina Scott won a 2018 Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) Class AAA Championship at Unionville High.
On the title run, she had 26 goals and 11 assists. Then in 2019, Scott had a team-leading 44 goals while dishing out six assists. She was elected captain of her high school team heading into her senior season.
Bella Gaspar, Midfielder, Burnaby BC, Canada (Saint Thomas More Collegiate)
One of two Gaspar’s on the Sun Devil lacrosse roster next season, Bella Gaspar competed for Team British Columbia at the club level, participating in multiple national tournaments.
She was named captain of her club team that finished second at the U19 Canadian National Tournament.
Gaspar played multiple sports in high school, too, competing in basketball and soccer as well. Off the field, she worked with her high school’s student council for four years, eventually becoming class president.
Gigi Gaspar, Midfielder, Burnaby BC, Canada (Saint Thomas More Collegiate)
Joining her twin sister Bella is Gigi Gaspar, who also competed on Team British Columbia at the club level. Gigi was named to her high school’s Provincial All-Star team in 2018 after helping her squad to a 2018 Provincial Box Lacrosse Final.
Similar to her sister, Gigi was another multi-sport star, serving as captain of her high school’s volleyball, basketball, and soccer teams.
Cate Duhig, Midfielder, Elmhurst IL (York High School)
Scoring 63 goals in 18 games in 2019, Cate Duhig is a 2017 Under Armour Midwest Girls All-American.
Duhig received All-Conference honors in each of her first three seasons at York High School, and played for Team Illinois at the U.S. National Lacrosse Tournament.
Known for her speed, stick-handling, and work in the draw circle, Duhig will be the second Sun Devil lacrosse player from Illinois.
Zoe Mazur, Midfielder, South Portland ME (Cheverus High School)
A two-sport phenom in Maine, Zoe Mazur was a standout on the ice and the lacrosse field. As a junior in 2019, she had 56 goals, 16 assists, collected 71 ground balls, and forced 17 turnovers.
She was the 2019 Spring Female Athlete of the Year at her high school, and received the 2019 Pierre A. Harnois Outstanding Athlete Award for her play in both lacrosse and hockey.
Mazur was captain of her high school’s state champion hockey team in 2019, and was a finalist for the Becky Shaffer Award, which goes to the best female hockey player in the state.

Rosie Davis, Attacker, Bowie MD (St. Mary’s High School)
Another multi-sport athlete in high school, Rosie Davis competed in indoor track and soccer in addition to lacrosse.
She was named MVP of her track team and is the ninth Sun Devil player in program history to stem from Maryland.

Riley Forman, Attacker, Doylestown PA (Central Bucks High School East)
Riley Forman netted 79 goals in her junior season at Central Bucks East High School, helping her secure 200 goals during her prep career.
Among a list of accolades, Forman was a two-time team captain and led her high school program in scoring during each of her three seasons.
Forman played on the Under Armour All-American Philadelphia Girls Team Highlight, and was named First Team All-Conference in back-to-back seasons in 2018 and 2019.

Flynn Murphy, Goalkeeper, Matthews NC (Weddington High School)
A starter since her freshman year at Weddington High School, Flynn Murphy holds all school records for goalkeepers, including saves, save percentage, and fewest goals against.
She is a three-time Union County Defender of the Year, a two-time Greater Charlotte Goalie of the Year, a three-time First Team All-Conference selection, and she stopped over 100 shots in each of her first three seasons.
Murphy comes from a winning pedigree at Weddington, too, where she was team captain during a time when her school was ranked No. 1 in the state and compiled a 17-1 record in 2019.
