ASU Women’s Basketball: Nation’s top recruit Lauren Betts considering Arizona State

The boys can’t have all the recruiting fun. Charli Turner Thorne and the Sun Devils received good news on Friday. Lauren Betts, a 2022 recruit out of Colorado, posted her top nine schools. Arizona State will be in a recruiting battle with Pac-12 foes Oregon, Stanford, UCLA, as well as UCONN, Notre Dame, Baylor, South Carolina and Louisville.

Betts is ranked as ESPN’s top overall recruit in the 2022 class. The 6-foot-7 post player has made a name for herself at Grandview High School and Team USA, where she helped the Under-16 team win the FIBA Championship back in 2019.
