Sun Devil football saw 10 former players in game action for Week 2 of the 101st NFL season. Let’s take a look at their performances from this week.
Brandon Aiyuk (WR/49ers): Aiyuk made his NFL debut on Sunday after missing the first game of the season against the Cardinals. In his debut, he caught two passes for 21 yards in the Niners win over the Jets.
Eno Benjamin (RB/Cardinals): Benjamin, who missed the Cardinals Week 1 game, also missed this week due to a lingering injury.
D.J. Foster (RB/Cardinals): Foster did not play any snaps on offense, but played 17 snaps on special teams for the Cardinals in their Week 2 victory over Washington.
Zane Gonzalez (K/Cardinals): After a rough outing in Week 1, Gonzalez bounced back converting on all three of his field goal attempts in the Cardinals Week 2 victory.
Kalen Ballage (RB/Jets): After being released by the Dolphins, Ballage signed with the Jets with starting running back, Le’Veon Bell being placed on injured reserve. In his season debut, Ballage had one rush for five yards and two receptions for 12 yards.
Matt Haack (P/Dolphins): After punting three times in Week 1, Haack punted five times against the Bills on Sunday, averaging over 52 yards per punt.
Jamil Douglas (OL/Titans): Douglas missed the Titans Week 2 matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. He also missed Week 1 against the Denver Broncos.
Lawrence Guy (DE/Patriots): In the Patriots loss to the Seahawks on Sunday Night Football, Guy recorded two tackles and two QB Hits.
N’Keal Harry (WR/Patriots): After setting a career-high in receptions last week, Harry set a new career-high with eight receptions for 72 yards against the Seahawks in their Week 2 matchup.
Renell Wren (DT/Bengals): Wren missed the Bengals Week 2 matchup with Browns as he out for the season with a right quad injury.
