On Sunday, Arizona State announced the hiring of Klayton Adams to fill the offensive line coaching vacancy following Dave Christensen’s retirement after the 2020 season.
On Thursday, they learned that 2022 four-star offensive lineman Demon Moore is still considering the Sun Devils as he narrowed his choices down from 13 offers to eight schools.
Moore, a 6-foot-5, 315-pound guard from Fort Wayne, IN, also included Oregon, Penn State, Nebraska, Missouri, Ohio State, Indiana, and Texas A&M in a graphic posted to social media.
247sports.com lists Moore as the No. 288th recruit in the country, the eighth-ranked offensive guard, and the seventh-ranked prospect at his position in the state of Indiana. The site gives him a “warm” interest in ASU.
ASU is expected to return its four starters on the offensive line for 2020. However, with two seniors in Kellen Diesch and Henry Hattis holding down positions, strength up-front will ultimately have to be replaced.
Landing Moore would provide depth for a unit that will be overturned in the near future.
