Arizona State men’s golf wrapped up its second tournament of the season on Wednesday. The Sun Devils finished second at the Southwestern Invitational at the North Ranch Country Club in Westlake Village, Calif.

Sophomore David Puig was the best individual at the event and won by a large margin. Puig finished -10. He worked off a great second round where he shot -6. Pepperdine’s Joshua McCarthy, who finished second, ended his tournament at -1.

As a whole, the result might be a bit disappointing. Arizona State led after the first two rounds by five shots going into the final round.

However, San Diego State, the winner of the tournament, simply had a great round and played better than the rest of the field on Wednesday.

The results from the other four Sun Devils are below:

Chun An Yu +1 (T7)

Cameron Sisk +13 (T38)

Blake Wagoner +20 (T55)
