Arizona State gymnastics (2-2) nabbed its first win over Oregon State (1-2) since 2006 on Friday. At Texas Tech, multiple Sun Devils set personal records at the Texas Tech Invitational.

Gymnastics

Led by Hannah Scharf’s third straight all-around victory, ASU beat the Beavers 196.225 to 195.850 in Tempe. Scharf finished top-three in every event except vault. Sarah Clark was the only Sun Devil to have a top score in an event with her 9.900 on the bars.

The team’s split the four events. Oregon State had a better performance in vault and floor, while Arizona State had better scores on bars and beam. The bars performance carried Arizona State’s overall score. Each top six score belonged to the Sun Devils on the bars.

The Gym Devils return to action next Saturday at home against Utah.
