Arizona State track and field capped off day two of the Texas Tech Invitational on Saturday with victories in men’s shot put and the women’s mile.
The Sun Devils had five top-three finishes that were highlighted by Turner Washington’s victory in shot put and Lena Lebrun’s mile run.
Washington’s 20.94m set a personal best and meet record, while Lebrun’s 4.58.15 in the mile was a meet record and she finished a full five seconds ahead of the competition.
