A winning streak

Zac BonDurant

Arizona State volleyball (11-10, 4-6 Pac-12) has had a season filled with tough losses. However, after the team put together its comeback win against UCLA, the Sun Devils have rode the momentum.

The Sun Devils topped Colorado (12-7, 3-7) Sunday as the far better team in the 3-1 (25-23, 30-32, 25-16, 25-21) win.

The Buffs took an early 15-9 lead in the first set, but Arizona State battled back. The set quickly swung in favor of the Sun Devils before they closed it out 25-23.

Colorado earned the hard-fought set two win as 62 points scored between the two teams. After that however, Arizona State rolled. The Sun Devils took the third set with ease and they used a 10-3 start in set four to close out the victory.

Four Sun Devils had double digit kills. Iman Isanovic had a team-high 18, but Claire Jeter, Marta Levinska and Geli Cyr each had at least 13 kills as well.

Arizona State now hosts Cal, which the Sun Devils have beat once this year, and Stanford this upcoming weekend.
