Arizona State has wasted no time in the 2022 recruiting cycle. A day after landing four-star defensive back Jaylin Marshall, the Sun Devils got more good news on Thursday. Jacurri Brown, a highly-rated quarterback from Valdosta, Ga., listed ASU in his final five choices.

Along with Herm Edwards’ program, Brown tweeted out a graphic that included Florida, Miami, Auburn and Texas A&M.

Based upon recruiting services expert predictions, the Gators appear to be the current favorite to land Brown.

Finding a 2022 quarterback is a high priority for the Sun Devils because it’s likely a possible successor to Jayden Daniels. They are also in on fellow 2022 quarterback AJ Duffy.

247Sports and Rivals each rate Brown as a four-star dual-threat quarterback. 247Sports ranks him the sixth at the position and 14th best prospect from the state of Georgia. He is listed as the 126th overall recruit in the 247Sports system and 191st by Rivals.
