Arizona State gymnastics (3-4) got back to its winning ways on Tuesday. A big-time performance pushed the Sun Devils 197.450-194.750 over Arizona (0-5) on Wednesday.

Emily White and Gym Devils dominated on bars and beam. White, Sarah Clark and Cairo Leonard-Baker had earned scores over 9.900, White’s 9.925 was enough to secure the bars title. Arizona State’s 49.400 team result on bars was the highest this season for the event and created a .650 difference between the two teams. Then on beam, the Sun Devils’ 49.350 secured their best result since 2009. White also grabbed the beam title after a 9.900 performance. Closely behind her was Megan Thompson and Hannah Scharf at 9.875.

Scharf, who won another all-around title after a career-high 39.550 day, had an incredible floor performance. Her 9.950 was the highest score for any event and she scored at least a 9.850 on each event. Freshman specialist Anaya Smith netted her third vault title of the season after a 9.900 score. Arizona State finished with the top four scores in the event.

Arizona State travels to Seattle on Feb. 28 to face Washington at 3:00 p.m. MT.
