Arizona State’s men and women tennis earned wins at home on Sunday.

Men’s

The men’s team held its ground at home on Sunday. The Sun Devils (4-1) were nearly perfect against Northern Arizona (0-1) 6-1.

Christian Lerby and George Stoupe took their match over, winning 6-1 over the Lumberjacks’ Eban Straker-Meads and Maciej Ziomber. With Nathan Ponwith and Max McKennon’s win as well, Arizona State took the doubles point.

Ponwith and Stoupe both won their singles match, too. Jonah Wilson and Tom Leblanc swept their matches, and Andrea Bolla won his in three sets.

Women’s

ASU continued its undefeated streak at home this season. No. 24 Arizona State (5-1) beat Kansas State (0-2) 4-1.

Once again, Arizona State got things going off the bat with the doubles point. The Sun Devils’ pairings of Tereza Kolarova/Giulia Morlet (6-2) and Sammi Hampton/Marianna Argyrokastriti (6-0) were able to put their opponents away quickly.

Argyrokastriti was very good in her singles match, sweeping Kansas State’s Anna Turco 6-1 in both sets. Their doubles match went unfinished. Ilze Hattingh and Lauryn John-Baptiste each won their singles match with ease to clinch the Sun Devils their victory.

Up next, Arizona State heads to Lubbock, Texas for a pair of games against SMU and Texas Tech on Saturday and Sunday.
