No. 9 Arizona (21-4, 5-2 Pac-12) took the regular season finale against No. 20 Arizona State (9-10, 4-7) 4-1 on Thursday.
Senior Cierra Flood and sophomore Sarah Waters were the lone Sun Devil pairing to win their point. After falling in the first set, Flood and Waters beat Arizona’s Natalie Anselmo and Carly Lowey 21-13, 15-12 in the next two sets.
Katelyn Carballo and Lexi Sweeney battled in their match to a third set, but ultimately fell.
