Remy Martin had a big part in Arizona State’s two upset wins over Kansas in 2018 and 2019. Now, if Martin plays another collegiate game, it’ll likely be for the Jayhawks.
Multiple reports on Monday, starting with Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports, said that Martin has committed to Kansas.

Martin also tells me that he plans to still go through the NBA Draft process.
Martin told Rothstein that he still plans to go through the NBA Draft Process.
The other interesting comment, is the quote Martin gave Rothstein about the prestige Kansas basketball carries.
“I just want to be able to play for a historic program,” Martin said in Rothstein’s report. “I’m very excited to play for Coach Self and get my master’s degree. I’m hoping to interact with the fans and play in such a historic place like Phog Allen Fieldhouse.”
Martin recently entered the transfer portal after declaring for the NBA Draft as well. It’s likely that Martin didn’t get the reports back from the league that he wanted to.
It’ll be interesting to see the former two-time first-team All Pac-12 selection be a part of a likely top-10 squad and have a chance on the national stage to win a title.
