Arizona State men’s golf is coming back home to compete at the 2021 NCAA Championships hosted by Scottsdale’s Grayhawk Golf Club starting on May 28.
Led by David Puig and Chun An Yu, the Sun Devils finished the final round of the Albuquerque Regional tied for second at a -16 team score.
Puig ended his tournament at -8 and in eighth place as an individual. Yu wasn’t far behind him, placing tied for 10th at -6. Mason Andersen (T32), Ryggs Johnston (T40) and Cameron Sisk (46) all finished inside the top-46 golfers in Albuquerque.
Joining the Sun Devils out of the Albuquerque Regional is Texas Tech, Oklahoma, San Diego and fellow Pac-12 member Oregon State.
This will be Arizona State’s 56th appearance at the NCAA Championships, the fourth-most by any program. The Sun Devils have also placed inside the top-three at their regional for the second consecutive tournament dating back to 2019.
