ASU Volleyball: Sun Devils beat Pacific, win fourth straight game

In the abbreviated spring season, the youthful Sun Devil volleyball squad only won six games. Before Arizona State (7-3) heads into conference play, it’ll have already surpassed that mark. The Sun Devils earned their fourth straight win Thursday after beating Pacific (3-7) 3-1 (25-20, 25-15, 24-26, 25-20).

The dynamic duo of Iman Isanovic and Marta Levinska showed out again. Levinska scored 15 kills on an outstanding .387 hitting percentage. Isanovic wasn’t far behind with 13 kills of her own.

The Sun Devils prevented good attacks from Pacific. As the opposition finished at a .047 hitting percentage and Arizona State earned eight blocks in the win.

In set two and four, Arizona State also finished really well. The Sun Devils rattled off six straight points to put themselves near a victory. They secured the win after taking six of the final seven points in the final set after the game was tied at 19.

Arizona State hosts UNLV on Saturday at 5:00 p.m. local time in the team’s final
