Tyreek Hill played only 47 percent of the offensive snaps against the Titans, and Miami lost by one point in going 2-for-5 in the red zone. The Dolphins played without him against the Jets on Sunday and scored 30 points and gained 290 yards. Hill has been mentioned more often as an MVP candidate than his quarterback, Tua Tagovailoa, because of the narrative that they go as their star receiver goes. Tagovailoa insists he tunes out the "noise," but also admits he keeps "receipts." "Everyone wants to make this about me, about Tyreek. Please, keep pushing it to Tyreek. Make it about Tyreek," Tagovailoa said, via Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN. "I understand that my platform and who I am in this league as a quarterback makes me polarizing. Whether I’m the best, whether I’m the worst, I [couldn’t] care less. I don’t listen to it. . . . At the end of the day, I really don’t care. But if [Dolphins communications] does share it with me, I mean, I keep receipts. We all have a way of how we do things, but all the narratives about it -- yeah, sure. I am only good with Tyreek, you’re right. That is the only time I’m at my best.
Damontae Kazee's hit on Michael Pittman Jr. that laid out the Indianapolis Colts receiver wasn't solely the Pittsburgh Steelers safety's fault – at least in the eyes of Tom Brady. On Monday, the seven-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback commented on SportsCenter's Instagram post showing the hit and sharing the news that Kazee, who was ejected from the game after the play, was suspended for the rest of the season.
The Ravens have been a tough team to beat this season, but that hasn’t stopped oddsmakers from predicting a loss in Week 16. Baltimore has been installed as around a five-point underdog for Monday night’s game against the 49ers. Both teams are 11-3 and the game will be at Levi’s Stadium, which makes it easy to understand why the 49ers are favored, but that doesn’t mean Ravens safety Kyle Hamilton is happy about the situation. "We feel a little disrespected by that," Hamilton said, via Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com. "I feel like we are the best team in the league, and we have an opportunity in front of the country to show it."
Arizona State University tackle Isaia Glass has announced his decision to sit out the remainder of the 2023 football season to preserve a redshirt year and subsequently enter the transfer portal. Glass shared the news on social media, expressing gratitude to ASU for the opportunities provided during his time with the Sun Devils. In his statement, Glass said, "I want to thank Arizona State University and all the staff for the opportunities that were given to me. Unfortunately, that chapter in my life has come to a close. Moving forward, I'll be looking for my best opportunity to finish out my college career." Glass, a 6-foot-5 offensive lineman hailing from San Tan Valley, has two years of eligibility remaining. At the time of his announcement, he had already been removed from the team's online roster. NFR 2023
In a season where they couldn't achieve all their goals, Arizona soccer found consolation in making it more challenging for their rivals to reach theirs. The Wildcats closed out their season with a spirited 2-1 victory over in-state rival Arizona State, delivering a fitting send-off to their seniors. Head coach Becca Moros expressed her delight with the win, stating, "To send off our seniors with that kind of high note after all that they've done for the program and the kind of people they are is a really special feeling for the team." The Wildcats displayed an aggressive style of play from the outset, exerting pressure on ASU during a physical first half. Despite the intensity, neither team managed to break through for a lead. Injuries have dealt a heavy blow to the Arizona State University (ASU) football team this season, and that burden grew even heavier during a challenging matchup against Utah. The Sun Devils endured a 55-3 loss to the Utah Utes in a Pac-12 Conference game at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City, with injuries taking center stage in the showdown. Quarterback Trenton Bourguet was sidelined by injury after just three offensive plays, leaving ASU severely short-handed in their clash with the Utes. While Bourguet briefly returned to the game, he was subsequently pulled after one series and had a difficult time, completing only 3 of 6 passes for a net loss of one yard. NFR live streaming
"Colorado has never produced, to my knowledge, a sellout in this stadium in the time I’ve been here," said Anderson, who became the ASU athletics director in 2014. "What does that tell you? That tells you that everybody wins because we’ll sell more concessions. We’ll sell more hot dogs, we’ll sell more water, we’ll sell more beer. There’ll be more people paying for parking. That’s good for everybody. That’s community impact that we realize is important. You got to give Deion credit."Thanksgiving images
Despite Trenton Bourguet's impressive performance with 344 passing yards and a solid defensive effort that kept California's total offense under 350 yards, the Sun Devil Football team fell short in their first away game of the season, losing 24-21 on Saturday. Bourguet, making his second start of the season and his first full game since the previous season, completed 63 percent of his passes (26-of-41) and showcased his versatility with a rushing touchdown and an 18-yard reception. Cam Skattebo continued to shine in various aspects of the game, catching four passes for 98 yards, gaining 59 yards and scoring a rushing touchdown on the ground, and completing a pass for 18 yards. Elijhah Badger contributed with 75 receiving yards, a two-point conversion, and an impressive 128 yards on kickoff returns, ending the game with a total of 203 all-purpose yards.
